A HUMBLE HOME NETWORK

Home Lab

Home Lab

The underlying infrastructure of my home network. My home lab is built using Proxmox, which allows for easy management of virtual machines and containers. it is used for hosting various services inclusing DNS, DHCP, a database server and web servers, as well as a few game server. In addition to Proxmox, I use TrueNAS for file storage and backups. In the future I plan to upgrade the existing servers and add more services, including a VPN server, Home Assistant, and more.

Humble Home Network

Humble Home Network

A project which started as a way to learn more about HTML and CSS, with the goal of creating a simple, clean, and mostly responsive dashboard for my home network. The website is built using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript, and is self hosted using Nginx and Nginx Proxy Manager.

Game Panel

Game Panel

A server hosing panel using Pterodactyl, Docker, and the playit.gg agent to make hosting game servers simple. Pterodactyl allows for easy management of game servers, which is great for hosting game servers for friends. Docker is used for containerization, which allows for easy deployment and management of servers, and playit.gg allows for easy access to game servers using Cloudflare.

Campus Network Implementation Project 2023

This project was a group project for the CISA program I took at BCIT. The project involved designing a network for a fictional campus, including the physical and logical design of the network, as well as the implementation of the network. The project required the use of various networking technologies, including VLANs, OSPF, GRE tunnels over IPSec, and more. During the project my primary role was Linux and Windows Server administration, but I also helped with the design and implementation of the network where needed.
